Things got all exciting on Abbott and Expo this afternoon. LBG got a phone call from his friend informing us that there was a sniper in our building and to look outside. Low and behold, across the street was a chain smoking, shorts clad gent, cornered by about fifteen bomb/riot squad officers with guns pointed at him. The street was blocked off and there were black SUVs lined up down Expo. After a couple of hours dude surrendered. Wonder how he got himself into that situation. I took advantage of my front row seat and sipped my tea on the balcony. It was intense! Better than TV for sure.
