Last night I went to the Rio to see a Russ Meyer double feature, starting with Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill! proceeded by Beyond the Valley of the Dolls. It was totally worth staying up until four in the morning outside of a bar. One of the many great things about the RIo is that they serve beer. Another is that every time I go something unexpected and completely hilarious happens. My last visit entailed a screening of the film Dancehall Queen (completely rediculous), followed up by a dancehall queen competition in which one of the two contestants managed to strut herself right off the stage. It was enough to induce laugher cramps and tears. Both occasions I took in with my good pal Garzita, who's infectious laugh is enough to make any humorous experience twice as funny. If only I had a recording of his uninhibited chortle to share with you all... I'll work on it. Here are a few selections from both films for your entertainment.

Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill! - opening sequence

I've opted out of a Saturday night on the town in favor of a nice, warm, fuzzy night on the couch. I was out being all active and such at the neighborhood basketball courts and cycling the seawall today. Now my toes are cold and I'm not much inclined to extract them from between the cushions for anything other than making some soup, changing into my sweats or turning on some Andy Milonakis. Or maybe I won't even move seeing as Chappelle show is on and Common is throwing down some raps. Can't complain, so instead I'll share...

Common & Kanye West - Food Live

Milonakis loves dancehall!!!...

... and he cracks me up.

Did you know Brian McKnight has his own talk show? I just discovered this now. I would post a clip, but I'd like you to come back and read some more posts in the future, so veto that.

Other than that I'd just like to put this out there, a sudden awesome thought... PONYS WITH GOLD FRONTS. Consider and reply with any images you might have / aquire / photoshop. Seriously, I would love to see that. I'll leave you with a suitable image if you feel the creative inclination to work on the latter option.
